Hi Seniors! Did anybody buy Dine Rite Corp. "mini ovens" stainless steel pots in the '60's?
I did! And now, 100 years later, I need to replace handles but I think the company went out of business. Any suggestions on where I can get replacement handles? At this point and age, I feel a big safety factor to replace the handles or I will have to replace the pots--which I would hate to do.

I don't have that brand but did buy Homemaker's Guild Waterless Cookware in the 70's. The company sold with those sets with 5-year payments at $5 a month, no interest. They went out of business because the price of steel increased to more than what they received for the cookware (plus two bonus items).
I have the same problem with the handles, several handles have gotten broken. I still have enough pieces to use on a regular basis, so haven't replaced them. I wonder if a person could get someone to make wooden replacement handles, and then sand them down smooth to use as a decent replacement. Of course they would have to be taken off to wash the pan, but that is the only thing I can think of at this point since the company no longer exists.
Those pans could last a century if the handles were easily replaced every few decades.
