where can I find out about a single shot ,24 gauge cane shotgun? Its all wood on the outside from ww2?
Its made out of wood and my great Uncle found it many years ago in Germany..The bottom of the barrel has a piece that fits in to complete the bottom of the cane, the handle is partly medal and the trigger hides in the handle..we also have the shells that came with it they are 24 gauge shotgun shells and they are from france, I have looked for infornation on it but come up empty handed..please help!
The best chance is to find a gunsmith. See what he can find out and get an appraisal. Alternatively, try some antique dealers and she what contacts they have.
It does sound like a great item to bring to "Antiques Roadshow."
