What is a buffalo nickel worth?
My nickel is very worn. The buffalo has 4 legs. I do not see a year or mint mark on it.
Well it depends on the year of the buffalo nickel and the mintmark letter(if it has one) which is stamped underneath the words five cents on the back of the nickel and if it is a 1936D or 1937D with a buffalo that only has three legs then the coin could be worth $200 or more but it depends on its condition as well. All the other years are not anything expensive but they can be worth up to a $100 if they are proofs. Which means they are perfect and have never been touched by human hands.
